Your Role and Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Analyst would be part of 24×7 Cyber Security Operations function to perform security monitoring and incident response,
• Perform incident escalation, initial assessment and analysis on alerts provided by SOC team.
• Follow pre-defined actions to assists investigation on security incidents or perform incident response actions, including escalating to other resolve team and support groups.
• Maintain standard operating procedures (SOP), processes and guidelines.
• Maintain security applications and solutions.
• Work with internal experts/external vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare Incident Reports on Critical or high severity incidents.
• Perform escalation to the team and administrative support to SecOps Manager
• Assist to inbound Change Requests (CRs), Service Requests (SRs), Queries for handling Incident Management.
• Execute daily ad hoc tasks or lead projects as needed.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 1-2 years or 2 to 4 years of working exp min in IT environment.
• Diploma in Information System/Information Security from a recognized institution.
• Knowledge of basic networking, Operating Systems and Cybersecurity Concepts.
• Understanding of firewalls, Antivirus, and endpoint protection.
• Some experience in SIEM technologies: Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, Log rhythm or Chronicle is an advantage.
• Good communication skills.
• Willing to work with 24×7 shift pattern that includes weekend work and extend shift hours if required.
• Willingness to be on standby for maintaining 24×7 SOC shifts.
• Previous exposure to working with a SOC team is an advantage.
• Certifications such as MCP, MSCE, CCNA Security, CEH, Security+ would be an advantage.
