Job Purpose
We are seeking a Document Controller to play a pivotal role in managing and organising project documentation. You will be responsible for ensuring documents are accurate, current, and securely stored. As a key member of the project team, you must demonstrate strong teamwork, adaptability, independence, and excellent communication skills, while consistently meeting deadlines.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Document Management: Maintain accurate records of drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.

  • Version Control: Ensure all documents are properly versioned, updated, and accessible to stakeholders.

  • Collaboration: Partner with project managers, engineers, and team members to distribute documentation effectively.

  • Quality Assurance: Implement document control procedures to uphold data integrity and compliance standards.

  • Project Tracking: Create and maintain live document trackers to record all documents and transmittals.

  • Quality Control: Review incoming and outgoing documentation for accuracy and consistency.

  • Administrative Support: Oversee day-to-day office administration, provide full support to the project team, and attend review meetings as needed.

  • Representation: Uphold company values with clients, partners, and colleagues.

  • Confidentiality: Ensure strict compliance with data protection regulations and information security standards.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience in document control or project administration.

  • Proficiency in document management tools (Procure, SharePoint advantageous).

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

  • Methodical and systematic approach to managing documentation.

  • Adaptable to changing priorities and project requirements.
