About the role

Apple Tree School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our vibrant, nurturing team. As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the early educational experiences of our young learners. This full-time position is based in Batam Riau Islands, where you will have the opportunity to foster a love of learning and help our students develop essential skills for their future success.

What you’ll be doing

1. Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of Kindergarten students

2. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional development

3. Assess students’ progress and development, and provide individualised support to help them reach their full potential

4. Collaborate with parents, guardians, and the broader school community to support students’ holistic growth

5. Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices

6. Contribute to the overall success and positive culture of the Apple Tree School community

What we’re looking for

1. Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

2. Minimum 2 years of experience teaching in a Kindergarten or preschool setting

3. Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in teaching young learners

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

5. Creativity, flexibility, and a passion for creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences

6. Proficiency in the local language and a good command of English
