Job Description :

  • Drive the sustainable growth of market leading brands in across various eCommerce platforms and possibly its own website. 
  • Responsible in crafting product and marketing strategies, tactics, campaigns among other things in ensuring online sales success.
  •  Planning and Execution of Strategic eCommerce Plan
  • Crafts the annual strategic eCommerce plan and presents this to senior management for approval. This will be your input in conduc  This plan outlines resources needed, team assignments, channel strategies, sales targets (annual and monthly), sources of growth and more.
  • Conduct Joint Business Planning with platforms and partners.
  • Leads the effective implementation of the strategic plan and achievement of targets.
  • Translates annual plans and targets into quarterly, monthly and even weekly goals.
  • Conduct a weekly sales progress meeting with your team and a monthly business review with top management and other members of the management committee.
  • Designing a world-class, engaging, convincing and trust-building online customer experience which includes leading initiatives in content creation, product/brand launching, campaign participation, live commerce, chat, using the latest and most effective platform tools, and more.
  • Monitoring and achievement of quantitative and qualitative KPI’s which includes but not limited to sales target achievement, eCommerce analytics, inventory analysis, and more.
  • Negotiate win-win agreements between NAVCO and other partners.
  • Ensure efficient on-time monitoring of account receivables
  • Build trust with key decision makers of platforms and partners.
  • Provide market feedback regarding competitors, consumer behavior, or other concerns to the marketing, supply chain, top management and to the category management team.
  • Provide recommendations on competitive pricing of certain products everytime it is necessary.
  • Submit demand forecasts for all products within a 20% margin of error to the demand planning and merchandising team.
  • Collaborate and pursue synergies with other departments in the company to achieve common business objectives. Brainstorms with the marketing team regarding effective promotional campaigns that will help increase sales.
  • Uphold honesty, integrity, loyalty and professionalism among your team and all colleagues in the company.
  • Have a thirst and openness for new learning. The company invests in constantly improving the professional and personal skills.

Requirement :

  • Strategic Thinking and Execution – The ability to strategize and execute a plan to establish a world-class eCommerce presence of your brands. You need to be able to discern the right product and price strategies, key platform campaigns to join, internal campaigns to create and initiatives that will drive flat period sales. You will be tasked to manage and decide your own marketing budget and product allocation.
  • Online Salesmanship – The ability to know how to design and implement an excellent and engaging online shopping experience that will gain consumer trust online and will drive conversion. These include engaging and relevant content creation, encouraging online reviews, handling of negative reviews/complaints, designing and training our chat team and more.
  • Superior Product Knowledge – You need to gain expert familiarity on your most important products and brands, and at least intermediate familiarity for all other products. This is essential for you to be an effective eKAM.
  • Leadership – As a leader, you need to be able to inspire your team into achieving your common objectives. You need to lead by example in modelling to your subordinates strategic thinking, patience, dedication to customers service, observance of company policies, professionalism, and good conduct as prescribed in the company’s handbook.
  • Collaborative skills – You will have to work with teams across your organization. This will often include the sales and marketing department, product management, category management, supply chain and the directors.
  • Communication skills: Both speaking and writing abilities have to be tapped in this role. You will frequently have to present about new products and you may need make engaging presentations, telling the ‘story’ of products, for various marketing and sales channels.
  • Data Analytics: Gaining insight into customer needs and experiences through the analysis of data, surveys and customer reviews will be part of driving our content and ensuring our success.
