About the role

Lead and be responsible for the mine-operation in accordance with good mining engineering principles, ensuring that all operating mining service companies fulfill their obligations and implement standards in accordance with statutory provisions, and meet production target.

What you’ll be doing

1. Report to Operational Director

2. Lead and be responsible for implementation and compliance with Work Safety and Health Legislation in the Mining Business Permit (IUP) area

3. Responsible for the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health as well as Environmental Management in the Mining Business Permit area

4. Ensure that every mining worker and location is safe and actively contributes positively to Occupational Safety and Health (K3) and the environment

5. Arrange, manage and control mining permits (IUP, UKL-UPL/AMDAL, IUP-OP, TPSL-B3, AAT, electrical permits

6. Prepare all mandatory report for mining industry, such as IUP-OP Holders report, quarterly K3L management report, mine progress report, mineral reserves report, production and sales report, Reclamation Plan Report (RR), and Mine Closure Plan Report

7. Responsible for the implementation of mining activities (digging/unloading, loading and transporting) of excavated materials to comply with central/regional government regulations and production targets

8. Collaborate with the across department to meet company goals and objectives

9. Lead and coordinate team member

What we’re looking for

1. A Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering from reputable university

2. Experienced min. 7 years in nickel-mine and at least one-time as KTT

3. Hold certified Pengawas Operasional Pertama (POP), Pengawas Operasional Madya (POM), and Pengawas Operasional Utama (POU), as well as K3, is a must

4. Strong knowledge and update in mining regulation, including work safety and environmental management

5. Has an effective and efficient project management with cost orientation

6. Able to work effectively under pressure and meet established target/goals

7. Keen on detailed and have strong analytical and critical thinking

8. Excellent communication and deal with people at all levels professionally

9. Should be proactive and self-motivated team leader

10. Has a good attitude, highly interpersonal skill, role-model and discipline

11. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
