1. Provides technical support to plant personnel regarding OSHA regulations, state environmental regulations, and federal DOT regulations.
2. Maintain implementation applicable regulatory permits.
3. Prepares all applicable regulatory reports and maintains supporting documentation.
4. Responsible implementation for Industrial Hygiene Monitoring Program for plant.
5. Participates in EH&S audits and Maintains documentation.
6. Support in the new raw material review for implementation of Chemical Hygiene.
7. Keeps current on regulatory issues.
8. Maintain facility safety files and records.
9. Maintain plant safety performance in order to meet plant goals.
10. Conduct and document new employee safety training and existing employee refresher training.
11. Provide safety support for all shifts.
12. Actively participate in Safety Council and cross-plant teams as needed.
13. Conduct investigation on safety incidents and/or injuries in conjunction with line and staff personnel.
14. Provide evaluation, purchase and distribution of safety equipment and supplies.
15. Perform Job Safety Analyses for new and existing processes where appropriate and develop hazard control practices and programs.
16. Participate on installation, maintenance and auditing of all security, fire protection equipment and alarms.
17. Other duties as assigned.
