Position Overview

As a QA Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the Quality Assurance team to ensure product and service quality meets Global’s standards. This role involves cross-functional coordination, task and priority management, team development, and active communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

• Prepare and submit daily reports on Confluence to update stakeholders on project status.

• Maintain regular communication with the Release Manager regarding release status, risks, and blockers.

• Provide clear reports and updates to Global stakeholders in line with corporate standards.

Issue & Incident Management

• Manage and prioritize P0 issues (critical defects) to ensure immediate resolution.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure root cause analysis and fixes are delivered promptly.

Test Management & Automation

• Create and assign test cases to QA team members.

• Review and upload test cases to Jira to maintain testing standards.

• Drive and oversee test automation initiatives to improve testing efficiency.

Team Leadership & Task Management

• Manage team workload by assigning tasks to members according to capacity and priorities.

• Lead daily stand-ups and internal daily check-ups with the QA team.

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to team members for both technical and non-technical challenges.

• Conduct weekly coordination meetings with other team leaders to align cross-team objectives.

Leadership Expectations

• Ensure the QA team operates effectively and efficiently in compliance with Global standards.

• Maintain open, collaborative, and solution-oriented communication between QA, Release Management, and Development teams.

• Actively contribute to continuous quality improvements at both the team and process levels.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in Quality Assurance, including both manual and automation testing.

• Prior experience leading a QA team in an enterprise environment.

• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and technical documentation tools such as Confluence.

• Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle critical (P0) situations under pressure.
