Job Descriptions

IT Operation Coordination:

  • Establish, review and evaluate IT Operations policies and procedures
  • Supervise day-to-day operation activities in IT Operations area
  • Develop and enhance IT system to enhance overall IT Operations service

IT Operation Maintenance:

  • Monitor the reliability and availability of IT Operations and Infrastructure (system and application, network and IP telephony) (in coordination with Mechanical Engineering)
  • Monitor the repair service process related with IT Operations coverage and related area (i.e., hardware, operating system, software application)
  • Monitor the maintenance of the computer hardware, operating system and other software applications (including Computer Laboratory)
  • Establish recovery action plan to handle IT Operation problems occurred
  • Plan guidance and suggest various solutions related to IT operation (database & application, network, IT infrastructure)

Database & Application:

  • Research, recommend and implement new application/system
  • Organize and deliver application training with related module (e.g., computer, applications, and programs)
  • Provide required application/database/system to support IT operation in related area
  • Monitor daily operation activities (i.e., system/application/database) to ensure its maximum reliability and availability

Network & Technical Support:

  • Monitor all servers performance and maintenance (i.e. domain controller, application server, file server, database server)
  • Responsible to organize and maintain effective IT network operation
  • Identify the needs for additional hardware and software components required
  • Oversee complaints, questions and assists users in using the software system or hardware for further service enhancement

Management Support Activities:

  • Provide Report to direct Supervisor
  • Suggest improvement process related to activities in area of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort and cost)
  • Perform activities related to Quality Management System
  • Perform additional tasks related to key responsibilities as required by Direct Supervisor

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology studies
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience, including 2 years in a supervisory position
  • Willing to be placed at BINUS Medan Campus and work onsite daily
