Jobdesc :

1. Network and Infrastructure

⦁ Network Design and Implementation (Mikrotik, Ruijie and Cambium): Design and implement network architectures, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs) and virtual private networks (VPNs). Install, configure, and deploy network devices, such as switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless access points, following industry best practices.

⦁ Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, availability, and security using network management tools and proactively resolve network issues. Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and performance degradation in a timely manner. Analyse network traffic patterns and make recommendations for network optimization. Perform network configuration backups, software updates, and patches to ensure network stability and security.

⦁ Network Security (Fortigate, Apex One and Greenbone): Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS), virtual private networks (VPNs), and access control lists (ACLs). Conduct regular security audits, and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities.

⦁ Network Capacity Planning: Monitor and forecast network capacity requirements based on business needs and growth projections. Recommend and implement network upgrades, expansions, and optimizations to meet performance and scalability requirements.

2. System Administrator

⦁ Server Design and Implementation (WinSvr 2020): Design and implement windows server or Linux Server services including Hypervisors/Hyper-V, Active Directory, Certification of Authority, DNS, WSUS, DHCP, File Services (FTP/SFTP),FSRM and Windows Deployment System.

⦁ Server Design and Implementation (Linux): Design and implement Linux Server services including Web Server (Apache), Databases (Postgre), Green Bone and Zabbix.

⦁ Cloud Server / VPS Administration (WHM and C-Panel) : Perform server administration task for VPS cloud services.

⦁ Email Server Administration (Postfix) : Perform server administration task for Cloud email services.

⦁ Active Directory Administration : Perform Windows Active Directory administration tasks including ADUC (ex: user/group, security permissions, centralized group policies ) and ADSR.

⦁ Server Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor server performance, resources, availability, research event-log warnings and errors. Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems including to ensure Active Directory Replication, CA Distribution and Virtualization are in a good state.

⦁ Server Backups (Veeam) : Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.

⦁ Server Capacity Planning: Monitor and forecast server capacity requirements based on business needs and data growth. Recommend and implement server upgrades, expansions, and optimizations to meet performance and scalability requirements.

3. IT Operations

⦁ Mitigating disasters: Design, maintain and implement organization’s disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Regularly simulate, and try to predict the impact of a disaster event and try to mitigate its effects on the company. In the event of a disaster.

⦁ IT Project: Build, Develop and Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation

⦁ Maintain and manage IT infrastructure: maintaining the hardware and software that keeps the IT infrastructure running. Responsible for setting up the hardware and maintaining the facilities that house them.

⦁ Infrastructure Monitoring (Zabbix): Manage network resources and availability using 3rd party monitoring software. Create and maintain network diagrams, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

⦁ Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure and maintain network equipment, software, and services. Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and project deadlines.

⦁ Collaboration and Support: Work closely with other IT teams, such as systems administrators, application developers, and security analysts, to ensure seamless integration of network services with other IT systems. Provide technical guidance, support, and mentoring to junior network engineers and other IT staff
