About the role

As the IT Infrastructure & Security Supervisor at PT Merdeka Tsingshan Indonesia, you’ll be responsible for oversees IT Field members to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable network operations. The role includes monitoring performance, resolving risks, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with policies and Service Level Agreements (SLA). Additionally, the supervisor drives continuous improvement, adopts new technologies, and fosters teamwork within the team.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead and supervise a team of IT Field officer, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective network operations.

• Monitor and optimize network performance, Troubleshoot, Resolve and mitigate any risk related to network operation and its security. Take proactive measures to optimize network performance, security and minimize downtime.

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT Network Infrastructure and Security Operations, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and compliance with company policies.

• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve network-related issues and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends in network Infrastructure and security operations. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance network security, efficiency and reliability.

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning among team members.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunication or a related field. With minimum of 5 years of experience in network operations or a similar role, including 3 years in a supervisory capacity.

• Having a valid certification of Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), ITIL, COMPTIA Security+ or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

• Deep understanding of Firewall, Manageable Switches, Fiber Optic, Access Point, Radio Two Ways System, CCTV, GPS Tracker, Access Control and Master Television.

• Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call for network emergencies.

• Proficient in documentation and report writing.

• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Mandarin is considered as advantage.

• Excellent teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse departments and stakeholders.
