Summary of Position:

As IT Infrastructure SEA, you will perform a hands-on technical role. You will be responsible for providing local and remote helpdesk support services to our employees, infrastructure services, and operational activities across all sites in Fluidra South East Asia. This includes the daily management and maintenance of security, server administration, networking, client computing, voice, telecommunications, technology assets, and service desk. The role will lead and support project-based work to implement improvements and leverage technology.

The position will be part of Fluidra’s APAC IT organization and collaborate with internal and external teams to continuously improve the corporate security, IT infrastructure operations and helpdesk services. This role will work closely with the Australian based IT Manager APAC, IT Infrastructure leader and other IT globally parties.

The role may need to perform other reasonable duties which are not listed in this position description from time to time to meet business and operational needs.

Main Responsibilities:

Infrastructure

  • Ensure the IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and services are implemented, administrated, maintained, upgraded, and healthy, to meet the requirements of the business. These include, but not limited to:
  1. Windows server hardware and software
  2. Network management of wired and wireless, voice and data networks
  3. Active Directory, identity, and user access management
  4. Storage solutions, System backups and their management
  5. Security systems, firewalls, and endpoint protection
  6. Desktop, laptop, tablet computing, Multi-function device and printing solutions
  7. Telecommunication, Office Telephony
  8. Audio visual and video conferencing systems.
  9. Patching and monitoring of Client, Servers, networking and associated software.
  • Manage projects and initiatives and deliver them on time and in quality manner.
  • Management of all IT assets and their lifecycle.
  • Develop & Maintain network, systems and IT documentation.
  • Manage and maintain software licensing compliance.
  • Develop & maintain infrastructure disaster recovery plans (DRP) including periodical testing to ensure information systems can be made available.
  • Provide training of our employees on infrastructure tools and capabilities.
  • Manage IT partners/supplier relationships and ensure support agreement compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and internal customers.
  • Actively collaborate and contribute to the wider IT global, regional, and local teams.

Service Desk

  • Provide IT service desk support deskside and remote.
  • Manage support requests via ticketing system Including liaising with HQ resolver groups.
  • Deployment of IT equipment including changes and moves. installation of PC hardware and software.
  • Provide user desktop, laptop, and tablet computing support and resolution of issues.
  • Troubleshoot and provide printer, Multi-function device and printing solution support.
  • Managing user onboarding and exits – in active directory, email accounts and other enrolments.
  • Assistance with administration of voice mobile, mobile data, and VOIP solution.
  • Provide VPN and network support.
  • Provide support for audio[AC1] visual and video conferencing systems.
  • Capture and publish metrics/KPI’s set out for infrastructure, service desk.

Cybersecurity

  • Assist the different global/regional/local teams with vulnerability management and risk mitigation.
  • Assist in service delivery and conducting technical security reviews and audits.

Adherence to Company Policies and Procedures

  • Adhere to and demonstrate commitment to company HR policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to and demonstrate commitment to company WHS policies and safe working practices.
  • Adhere to working conditions as stipulated in employment contract.
  • Demonstrate adherence and commitment to meeting all key result areas of position description.
  • Adhere to all relevant employment legislation as dictated by state and federal legislation inclusive of Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and its regulations [AC1]

WORK EXPERIENCES:

  • 4 plus years of experience as an IT Infrastructure Engineer, Leader or System Administrator.
  • Experienced in providing IT support and service to internal employee service.
  • Excellent working knowledge and administration of Microsoft windows servers, virtualisation (VMware), Veeam backup, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SQL.
  • Proven hands-on technical knowledge of LAN, WAN, global networks, switches, firewalls, VPN, wireless products).
  • Experience supporting Microsoft desktop operating including current Microsoft Windows and Office versions.
  • Experienced in leading projects, upgrades, process improvements, and migrations.
  • Experience in the management of 3rd party vendors and meeting SLA’s.
  • Development of data back-up and disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Experience in working in a global multinational organisation with distributed teams.
  • Experience in using ticketing systems.
  • Experience supporting a G-Suite environment.
  • Knowledge of the information security industry trends and their applications.
  • ITIL certification or experience in Service Delivery and Management processes is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity practices.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
  2. Microsoft Certified Engineer qualification or background.
  3. CISA, CISSP, OSCP, OSCE or Fortinet certifications desired.

  8. Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Fluent in English
