As an IT Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization’s information technology infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of digital systems. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will have the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to contribute to the efficient functioning of the company’s IT environment.

This role is ideally suited for a recent graduate who is enthusiastic about launching their career in the field of information technology.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support:

• Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Respond promptly to help desk requests, troubleshoot problems, and guide users through appropriate solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripheral devices, and software applications.

2. Network Maintenance:

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of local area networks (LANs) and Wi-Fi networks.
• Monitor network performance and ensure its reliability, security, and availability.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues.

3. Software Management:

• Assist in the installation, upgrading, and maintenance of software applications used throughout the organization.
• Support users in navigating software applications, addressing user-related challenges, and providing training when necessary.

4. Data Security:

• Follow established security protocols to safeguard digital assets and sensitive information.
• Assist in implementing and enforcing security measures, including user access controls and antivirus software.

5. Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of IT assets, inventory, and software licenses.
• Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and user guides for future reference.

6. Technology Upgrades:

• Assist in planning and implementing hardware and software upgrades, patches, and system updates.
• Collaborate with the IT team to identify opportunities for technological improvements that enhance operational efficiency.

7. User Training:

• Provide basic training to employees on the proper use of hardware, software, and IT tools.
• Create user-friendly guides and tutorials to facilitate self-help and user empowerment.

8. IT Administration:

• Assist in maintaining user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems.
• Monitor system logs and perform routine checks to ensure system health and performance.
• Contribute to IT procurement processes, including researching and recommending hardware and software solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Able to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in technology.
• Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and office software.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and hardware components.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
