Job description & requirements

We are looking for candidates with expertise in both information technology and Finance & Accounting business processes for the role of IT Business Analyst for Finance. The IT business analyst is responsible for mapping business processes, user requirements gathering, producing Business Requirements Document and bridging the users with IT developers to implement new systems, ensure that IT Security and Compliance requirements are catered for, enhance existing systems, manage the system projects, coordinate UAT and documents UAT results and signoff.

Qualifications and skills :
•        Min. Bachelor of Arts (S1) degree from reputable colleges & universities, preferably in Informatics/Computer Science or Mathematics; Finance graduates are welcome.
•        Preferably has min. 3 year experience as Business Analyst/System Analyst with experience in supporting Finance & Accounting department.
•        Familiar with SDLC, Agile methodology and able to document user’s requirements well
•        Skillful project manager with experience in delivering system development/enhancement projects. PMI certification will be a plus.
•        Proficiency in VB, .NET, Oracle and SQL, skills and knowledge in Power Builder are an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities :
•        Act as point of contact for Finance users in country and Regional offices with regards to any system changes and new implementations for Finance.
•        Conduct requirements gathering for system enhancement and new implementation with Finance users.
•        Document user requirements in a Business Requirements Document and obtain signoffs from relevant stakeholders.
•        Act as a bridge between users and the IT application team, translate business requirements into technical spec requirements.
•        Liaise with local IT team and Regional Office for IT security and compliance requirements needed to roll out the system implementation.
•        Coordinate users to conduct UAT.
•        Organize UAT, track and document testing results and coordinate with the IT development team for required fixes
•        Obtain UAT signoffs from relevant stakeholders and arrange for go-live execution.

The best IT business analysts have exceptional interpersonal skills as they need to act as a communication link between the IT and other stakeholders in the company.
