About the role

Join PT Karya Mandiri Panel’ as an Interior Designer based in Medan Tuntungan, North Sumatra. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional interior design solutions for a range of residential and commercial projects.

What you’ll be doing

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences
  • Develop detailed design concepts and plans that meet the client’s needs and align with industry best practices
  • Select and source appropriate materials, furniture, and fixtures to bring the design to life
  • Oversee the implementation of the design, coordinating with contractors and tradespeople
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Provide ongoing support and advice to clients throughout the design and construction process

What we’re looking for

  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as an interior designer, preferably in the residential or commercial sector
  • Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, and spatial planning
  • Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
