Summary:
As a Interior Designer at My Shrine Studios, you’ll play a pivotal role in assisting the development and execution of design concepts under the guidance of the Creative Director and the business owner. This position involves managing architectural details, finishes, furniture, lighting selections, and collaborating with the design team to ensure accurate representation of design narratives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mood Board Development:

Create mood boards and photo mapping guided by the vision, reflecting design narratives and client preferences.

• Design Management:

Under the supervision of the Creative Director Manage architectural details, finishes, furniture, and lighting selections, aligning them with the established design concept.

• Collaboration:

Work closely with the Creative Director and the design team to ensure accurate representation of design narratives in mood boards, fostering collaboration and idea exchange.

• Client Presentation:

Present mood boards to clients for approval, incorporating feedback into the final design plan, ensuring client satisfaction.

Specific Tasks:

• Conduct effective presentations and briefings to the design team and stakeholders, communicating design concepts and project goals.
• Perform site inspections, measurements, and coordinate with contractors to ensure design implementation aligns with the plan.
• Manage responses to RFIs (Requests for Information), review shop drawings, and efficiently delegate tasks.
• Oversee the handling of RFIs, ensuring timely responses and accurate information dissemination.
• Source materials and samples, specify products, and collaborate with suppliers and internal procurement teams while working within set budgets.
• Develop schedules, including finishes categories, FF&E, and manage project phase timelines.
• Assist in budgeting, sourcing, and procurement activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to project budgets.

Experience and Skills:

• Proven experience in interior design or a related field, demonstrating project schedule management, documentation, and procurement expertise.
• Strong proficiency in developing mood boards and executing design plans.
• Excellent understanding of architectural details, finishes, furniture, and lighting selections.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, contributing creative ideas.
• Exceptional English communication, presentation, organizational, and budgeting skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Portfolio demonstrating proficiency in mood board development and design execution.
• Prior experience in design management or a relevant role.
• Familiarity with Variation Orders and on-site design inspections is advantageous
