About the role

GRAVINDO STUDIO’ is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in East Java. As an Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually stunning and functionally-optimized spaces that reflect our clients’ unique visions. Reporting directly to the Lead Designer, you will collaborate closely with our design and project management teams to deliver exceptional interior design solutions for a range of commercial and residential projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Create high-quality 3D visualizations and renderings for interior design proposals.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, software, and technologies to continually improve the quality of your work.

• Understand the interior production workflow and serve as the project leader for designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of experience in Interior Design Projects with a focus on Build experience.

• Proven knowledge of materials and detailing, with a broad understanding of their advantages, disadvantages, and challenges.

• In-depth knowledge of furniture, finishes, lighting, materials, color selections, and specifications.

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion, and Enscape.

• Knowledge of 3ds Max, Corona, or other design software is a plus.

• Proficient in creating 3D renderings and animations. Able to work with VR visualizations is an added advantage.

• Familiarity with AI applications is an advantage.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively present design concepts.

• Possession of a personal laptop/PC.

• Personal transportation and a valid driver’s license (SIM A/C).

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop interior design concepts that align with the client’s vision and project objectives.

• Develop mood boards, sketches, and design proposals to effectively communicate your ideas.

• Source and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design concept and budget.

• Stay informed about the latest industry trends, products, and sustainable design practices.
