About the role

This is a full-time position for an Instrument & Control Engineering Assistant at PT Datang Dssp Power Indonesia, located in Central Kalimantan. As part of the Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems for the company’s power generation operations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist in the design, configuration, and programming of instrumentation and control systems
  • Participate in the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and electronic equipment
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on instrumentation and control systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and training materials
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in instrumentation and control technologies

    • What we’re looking for

  • Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in an Instrument & Control Engineering or related role
  • Proficiency in the design, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems
  • Knowledge of control system programming, including PLC and SCADA systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
