KOTRA Jakarta, Indonesia Smart City Project Specialist

We, KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Indonesia Smart City Project Specialist.

In this role, you will identify and provide opportunities for Korean companies to participate in Indonesia’s Smart City projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for finding and establishing relationships with local partners in Indonesia to facilitate their involvement in these projects. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in executing various marketing activities throughout the project participation and implementation process.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and assess potential opportunities: Research and identify potential Smart City project opportunities in Indonesia.
• Provide project information to Korean companies: Act as a liaison between Indonesian project stakeholders and Korean companies. Provide detailed information about the projects, including scope, requirements, timelines, and potential benefits.
• Identify and establish partnerships: Develop a network of local partners and stakeholders in Indonesia, including government agencies, private companies, and local communities. Cultivate relationships and establish partnerships to facilitate the participation of Korean companies in Smart City projects.
• Coordinate project participation: Coordinate with Korean companies and local partners to facilitate their involvement in Smart City projects. Assist in the preparation of project proposals, collaboration agreements, and relevant documentation.
• Marketing and promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the Smart City projects to Korean companies. Organize events, seminars, and workshops to showcase the opportunities and benefits of participating in Indonesia’s Smart City initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, project management, or marketing, preferably in the technology or urban development sector.
• At least 3 years of working experiences in a Korean Company
• Strong understanding of Indonesia’s Smart City initiatives, policies, and project landscape.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English and Korean
