The Role

We are looking for a motivated and multifaceted HR and General Administration (HRGA) Executive to join our team. This role is a unique blend of human resources, administrative management, and legal support. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with expertise in HR management, administrative operations, and legal affairs. You will be responsible for overseeing HR functions, ensuring efficient office operations, and providing legal guidance to support the company’s objectives.

What You’ll Do:

Human Resources

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new employees are successfully integrated into the organization.
  • Input and update employee information into the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates or deductions.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payrolls, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
  • Verify and process employee time records, including hours worked, leave, and overtime.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and documentation.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, addressing and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Oversee the performance appraisal process, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback sessions.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement plans and strategies to enhance employee productivity and development.
  • Administer salary increments and bonuses, issue warning letters for policy violations, and oversee exit procedures to ensure fair treatment and compliance throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and organizational objectives.
  • Ensure that HR policies are communicated effectively to employees and management.
  • Handle all (business travel, medical, health and employee claims) lifecycle, ensuring accurate evaluation, timely processing, and resolution while maintaining compliance and excellent customer service.

General Affairs

  • Manage and prepare monthly and annual Opex budgets and reports, including tracking and analyzing monthly operational expenses to ensure financial control and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee trucking operations and ensure effective vehicle maintenance to optimize transportation efficiency and reliability.
  • Oversee the maintenance and operations of warehouse and office buildings, including the management of weighing bridges to ensure efficient and safe infrastructure utilization.
  • Handle office operations including managing stationery supplies and pantry services to ensure a well-organized and efficient workplace.
  • Oversee the management of assets across office, warehouse, and laboratory settings, ensuring proper tracking, maintenance, and utilization of equipment and resources.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies to ensure compliance with regulations, advocate for organizational interests, and facilitate smooth interactions on policy matters.
  • Oversee waste management processes, including the implementation of effective disposal practices, compliance with environmental regulations, and coordination of recycling and waste reduction initiatives.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources management, with a proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Proven experience in human resources and administrative management.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and administrative operations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
