Currently, our client, a Japanese Chemical company residing at the heart of Jakarta is currently looking for a HRGA Assistant Manager that would lead 1 subordinate and handles 15 employees.

Job Summary:

This position plays a crucial role in managing human resources and general affairs functions within the organization. The candidate is responsible for Ensuring Human Resources, General, Legal, Compliance, Health, Work Safety and Internal Environment conducive conditions, so that employees and companies become productive. ensuring effective HR and administrative support to enhance employee satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.

2. Employee Relations:

  • Address employee queries and concerns in a timely and confidential manner.
  •  Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Internal control

3. HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations, ensuring the organization’s compliance.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
  • Supervise the implementation of Legal Law
  • Oversee the implementation of Health, Safety and Environment.

4. Payroll & Benefits Administration:

  • Manage payroll & employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Educate employees on available benefits and assist with inquiries.

5. General Affairs:

  • Oversee general office administration and facilities management.
  • Oversee the implementation of General Affairs.
  • Coordinate office logistics, including maintenance, supplies, and equipment.

6. International Work Authorization:

  • Manage the work authorization process for international employees.
  • Stay updated on immigration laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

7. Performance Management:

  • Support the performance appraisal process, including goal setting and performance reviews.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.

8. Records Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of HR-related information.

9. Event Planning:

  • Organize company events, meetings, and social gatherings.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure successful event execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any major
  • +8 years of solid experience in HRGA and has experience in leading a team.
  • Mastering HR and employment management
  • Able to work in a team or individually
  • Mastering GA management
  • Experience in handling international working permits
  • Mastering legal issues
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel formulas is mandatory
  • Holds CHRP (Certified Human Resource Professional) Certification or BNSP in HRGA would be preferable
