We are assisting our client, a growing company in Semarang, in finding an experienced HR & GA to oversee HR operations and ensure smooth office and facility management in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruitment processes for the Semarang branch, including job postings, resume screening, and conducting interviews.

  • Collaborate with department heads to develop job descriptions and ensure staffing needs are met.

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires and ensure smooth integration into the company culture.

  • Assist in performance appraisals and track review timelines, supporting managers in creating improvement plans.

  • Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.

  • Support employee relations by addressing concerns and promoting a positive work environment.

  • Identify training needs and coordinate employee development sessions, ensuring effective skill enhancement.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and prepare regular HR reports for branch management.

  • Ensure compliance with local labor regulations and assist in developing branch-specific HR policies.

  • Manage payroll processes, including attendance, leave, overtime, and deductions (BPJS, taxes).

  • Register employees with BPJS Kesehatan and Ketenagakerjaan, calculate and remit contributions.

  • Ensure employees have valid Tax Identification Numbers (NPWP) and manage income tax (PPh 21) submissions.

  • Oversee office management functions, including pantry, restroom, and office supplies maintenance.

  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and manage facility maintenance.

  • Manage cleaning and security staff, ensuring a safe and clean workplace.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Law, or related fields.

  • At least 3 years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on recruitment, payroll, compliance, and general affairs.

  • Experience in managing HR functions for a branch or operational environment.

  • Solid knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, BPJS, and taxation regulations.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Proven ability to work effectively with employees at all levels and manage sensitive HR issues.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.

  • Fluency in English is required; having skill in mandarin is a plus.
