Job Summary: The Senior Operations Officer is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the company. This individual will manage and mentor a team of operations professionals, oversee the successful execution of key projects, and implement strategic initiatives to drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a proactive and experienced leader with a proven track record of optimizing processes, managing resources, and inspiring a team to achieve strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear goals, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.

  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure optimal team productivity and project success.

  • Mediate conflicts and resolve issues within the team, promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Project Management & Execution:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple projects from inception to completion.

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders.

  • Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and ensure projects are completed within budget and to quality standards.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, developing contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.

Operational Strategy & Process Improvement:

  • Analyze existing operational processes and workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and quality improvement.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to enhance operational performance and align with overall company objectives.

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure team performance and operational effectiveness.

  • Ensure all operational activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operational matters, collaborating with other departments (e.g., Finance, Sales, Human Resources) to ensure seamless workflow.

  • Communicate with senior leadership on a regular basis, providing updates on team performance, project status, and operational challenges.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and clients as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • 2-3 or more years of experience in an operations role, with at least 1 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.

  • Proven experience in managing teams, with a strong ability to motivate and develop personnel.

  • Demonstrated experience in project management, including successful project delivery.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Proficiency with project management software and operational management tools.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
