As the Head of Special Asset Management, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic direction and execution of corporate loan work-out initiatives and portfolio management.

Description

• Lead and oversee the development and execution of strategies for the work-out of distressed corporate loans.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to negotiate and implement effective loan restructuring solutions.
• Manage and optimize the performance of the special asset portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and risk tolerance.
• Implement proactive measures to mitigate potential credit and operational risks within the portfolio.
• Develop, review, and enhance policies and frameworks related to special asset management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Establish best practices and guidelines for the effective management and resolution of distressed corporate loans.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of special asset management professionals.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including legal, risk management, and regulatory bodies.
• Communicate effectively with senior management on portfolio performance, risk exposures, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and implement reporting mechanisms to track and communicate the performance of the special asset portfolio.
• Provide regular updates to executive management on key metrics, trends, and risk assessments.

Profile

• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in Special Asset Management, with a focus on corporate loan work-out and portfolio management.Strong understanding of credit risk, distressed debt, and corporate finance.
• Proven track record in negotiating and executing successful loan restructuring and work-out solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements related to special asset management.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Advanced degree in finance, business, or related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
