On behalf of our client engaged in the technology industry, we are seeking an experienced software lead/architect to join our team. The Software architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions to business problems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development and experience with a variety of programming languages and technologies.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a technical lead or architect role
• Strong experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
• Experience with software design patterns and software architecture
• Experience in end-to-end execution and delivery of enterprise-grade software
• Knowledge of design principles, fundamentals of architecture, quality processes, and estimation techniques
• Experience with relational and/or non-relations databases
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum and JIRA
• Deep problem-solving abilities and analytical skills to resolve ambiguous requirements
• Experience in software engineering and design architecture, deployment practices such as using Docker or Docker-compose or Kubernetes
• Attention to detail and quality, and the ability to work well in and across teams
• Experience in implementing user interfaces using web technologies and frameworks, and exposure to delivering highly available, scalable large-scale products on the cloud platform

Job descriptions:

• Gather requirements, validate the architecture, and create and review high-level and low-level design
• Provide technology consultation and technical solutions for projects/products
• Create and review architectural decisions for projects/products
• Ensure compliance of non-functional attributes (stability, security, availability, performance, etc.) of the product to internal standards
• Guide/provide technical training and influence business/technical decisions
• Own and execute projects independently from an architectural standpoint
• Lead a team of software developers in the design, development, and maintenance of software systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Contribute to the overall technical direction of the organization and ensure that best practices are followed
• Mentor and guide team members in their technical development
• Manage the execution of technical projects and ensure that they are delivered on time and to the required quality standards
• Analyze and optimize the performance and scalability of software systems
• Ensure that software systems are secure, reliable, and maintainable
• Write high-quality, maintainable code
