Job Description :

• Working closely with the Stakeholder Engagement staff, manage engagement with one (or possibly more depending on the scale of the project) project stakeholders across local authorities, Central Government & local Government, statutory and non-statutory bodies (including environment & technical organizations), industry & business, land & property, communities and other parties to establish strong working relationships
• Keep update and provide recommendation/feedback to GRP BOD & BOC for new or existing laws related to steel and construction industry and ensure that the company conducts business according to new regulations that arise.
• Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation by assessing, analyzing and collating environmental performance data and reporting information to internal staff, clients and regulatory bodies.
• Provides strategic regulatory guidance. S/he oversees and manages regulatory activities for GRP’s portfolio in collaboration with the project teams, Legal, Corporate Communication, and other internal function to ensure timely implementation.

• Provide advice to BOD in context of anticipation, mitigation, reaction, and remediation of regulatory issues and develop strategic relationship with governmental bodies in relevance with GRP’s interest.

• Collaborate in corporate projects as required & Lead Ad hoc project as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master Degree in Communication, Business or Social Sciences from reputable University
• Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in government relation & regulatory roles
• Proven ability to work and multi-task under pressure, respond quickly to changing situations in complex project environments, prepare responses/narrative quickly and clearly and use personal initiative
• Good interpersonal and networking skills, highly articulate team player
• Strong project management and people management skills
• Fluent speak in English
