About the Head of Regulatory & Corporate Affairs role:

The Head of Regulatory and Corporate Affairs will be responsible for overseeing the regulatory compliance of the company as well as developing and implementing strategies that promote the company’s reputation and ensure its long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Related,

• Oversee compliance within their organization, and ensure full compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure that the company has a deep commitment to providing up-to-date knowledge of regulatory compliance throughout the organization by providing ongoing training.
• Be the first and last voice on all regulatory matters, providing clear strategic direction for senior management leadership.
• Develop, monitor, and update an annual compliance plan that addresses the specifics of the company’s activities and products.
• Consistently stay ahead of regulatory and legislative changes that impact the organization and its relationship with regulators.
• Be a partner in the development of product marketing concepts and approve relevant packaging and advertising.
• Lead compliance teams and monitor the success of staff and programs.
• Monitor internal audits and compliance reviews, investigating matters as needed.
• Foster an environment that encourages employees at all levels to report issues, improprieties, and concerns that could harm the public and undermine the company.

Corporate Affairs Related,

• Developing and implementing appropriate Corporate Affairs strategies, programs, and policies for all stakeholders to achieve a positive image & brand in line with the corporate mission and vision.
• Promote and positively represent the organization through internal and external communication. Including managing information related to company’s project update to be distributed to the shareholders and stakeholder.
• Build and manage relationships with related government in region and central, key industry players, media, and communities.
• Providing update of Government initiatives, projects and regulations, particularly impact to company’s operations and business type of.
• Create promotional and branding materials, including company profile, company website, corporate merchandise and press releases.
• Developing and implementing crisis management strategies related to corporate branding to alleviate crisis situations and maintain a positive reputation.
• Planning & managing the Corporation’s key events.
• Communities’ programs in format of CSR.
• Managing issues related to Communities, Environmental and liaising with respective parties.
• Initiates and contributes to sustainability programs.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in regulatory affairs and corporate communications and will be able to provide strategic guidance to senior management on relevant issues affecting the company.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’ or master’ degree in law from reputable university
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in regulatory affairs and corporate communications
• Minimum of 5 (five) years of experience at managerial position
• In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and experience interacting with regulatory agencies.
• Proven track record of developing and executing effective regulatory strategies.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing teams of professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and manage complex issues and risks.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and ethics, with a commitment to transparency and compliance
