The Head of Operations will be reporting directly to the Group CEO. This role will be based in Kalimantan and the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the forestry business, from forest management to logistics and supply chain coordination. You will play a crucial role in optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and driving productivity across various departments.

Description

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve operational objectives aligned with the company’s overall goals.
• Identify areas for improvement and innovation in operational processes and systems
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable forestry practices.
• Manage procurement processes for equipment, materials, and services required for forestry operations.
• Coordinate transportation logistics for timber products, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and industry partners.
• Represent the company in relevant forums and industry associations.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in forestry, business administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience in a senior operational role within the forestry/Palm Oil industry, with a strong understanding of forest management practices, supply chain logistics, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively leading teams and driving operational excellence.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize competing demands effectively.
