Job Description:

Scope of Position

This position is responsible to provide proper system in planning Material Support & Logistics Department activities in procurement, storage, transportation and handling of aircraft, spares and materials as well as services, to meet internal and external requirements in the most efficient and economical manner. Besides that, responsible for effective material operations management of all logistic activities to internal and external clients to meet requirements as Approved Maintenance Organization within AHM. Management of two interconnected teams: Material Support and Logistic/Warehouse – set-up of yearly objectives and KPI, continuous follow-up of the performances, identifying possible training needs and career growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• To establish a suitable organizational structure to provide and maintain an effective, efficient administration in the Material Support & Logistics Department.

• To ensure that the responsibilities of the department are clearly defined and personnel’s responsibility for performance are expressly delegated.

• To determine and ensure an efficient and optimum inventory level of consumables, aircraft spares, materials and components to support aircraft requirements at the targeted service level.

• To ensure an efficient and effective system is in place for the management and control of purchases of aircraft spares and materials and engineering assets to the best interest of the company.

• To ensure the aircraft spares, materials, components and equipment are received and stored in accordance with Company and authorities regulatory requirements and handled timely and efficiently to facilitate maintenance and related activities.

• To ensure that all audit findings carried out internally and by any governing bodies are attended and resolved within the agreed time-frame.

• To ensure that internal and external customers’ requests are acknowledged and attended on a timely manner, and that regular updates are provided, in order to keep the customer satisfaction high

• Shall determine, collect and analyze appropriate data and KPIs to demonstrate the suitability and effectiveness of its quality management system and to evaluate where continual improvement of the effectiveness of the quality management can be made.

• Responsible to ensure that the team are in possession of correct skills, are given appropriate training, are up-to date with the latest methods, procedures and requirements, and are of sufficient strength to accomplish the work effectively. Maintain the record of staff training.

• Upkeep and live Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct to be the exemplary to others and to promote and increase the awareness of Airbus Values, Leadership Models and Code Of Conduct.

• Responsible to carry out all other tasks as directed by the superior.

Background and Skills

Minimum Education & Experience:

Minimum 7 years experience and candidates must be possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Business / Engineering / Logistics.

Other Experience:

Experiences in Aviation Industry and Export Control is preferable

Usage of SAP system will be added advantage
