Job description:

  • Lead, develop and inspire teams of partnerships, sales, and marketing.
  • Drive top-line results in order to hit weekly, quarterly, and annual growth targets
  • Build and communicate a comprehensive growth marketing plan to help the business achieve its revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute an effective sales strategy; by developing a strong value proposition, setting clear goals and objectives, defining your sales process, and using this to develop a comprehensive sales plan with clear tactics and timelines.
  • Analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement, and making data-driven decisions to optimise your sales strategy and tactics.
  • Analyse our current acquisition and retention strategies, research competitors and talk to customers to help inform strategies.
  • Take ownership for customer acquisition channels-paid ads, display ads, SEO, affiliate marketing and influencer marketing.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders at target institutions; building trust and rapport with them, understanding their needs and priorities, and providing them with relevant and timely information throughout the sales process and beyond.
  • Own and improve how we convert our prospects into customers; ensure our customers get to their ‘AHA’ moment quicker
  • Work with a variety of stakeholders across sales, partnership, marketing, finance, operations and project to make sure plans and projects are communicated accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degrees from a top University.
  • Have minimum 4 years of experience at a leading edu-tech startup.
  • Experienced in leading a team with minimum 5 people 
  • Experienced with social media marketing, growth marketing, content creation, partnership, B2B and B2C and enterprise sales, including experience with lead generation, prospecting, deal negotiation, and closing.
  • Have the ability to think strategically; carried out effective strategy by identifying and adapting to market opportunities, setting clear objectives, and developing a comprehensive plan to consistently achieve targets.
  • Have the ability to negotiate, overcome objections, and understand the customer’s decision-making process through the sales process.
  •  Have the ability to build strong relationships with the customer by establishing trust, being responsive to their needs, and demonstrating a deep understanding of their business.
  • Great effective communication skills; ability to clearly state ideas, strategies, vision and suggestions.
  • Excellent problem solver with a good critical thinking skills
  • Agile and able to adapt quickly. Can operate in a high-growth business where change is constant.
