The company is currently seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Engineering to offer strategic leadership for the engineering team. The chosen candidate will assume a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the plantation’s infrastructure, machinery, and equipment, ultimately ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of their agricultural processes.

As the company continues to expand, they are in search of a talented Head of Engineering to provide leadership to the engineering department and ensure the efficient functioning of their plantation infrastructure.

Description

• Plan, design, and oversee the comprehensive operational, technical, and administrative aspects of engineering projects to provide essential support to the Estate and Mills operations within the Region.
• Execute and manage Capex Projects, encompassing mechanical, civil, and electrical engineering projects at estates and mills, with a commitment to on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Spearhead projects and initiatives focused on operational excellence, including process improvement projects, to enhance overall efficiency.
• Develop project plans that encompass engineering aspects, ensuring that they align with the operational and technical needs of the Estate and Mills.
• Manage the implementation of engineering projects within the Capex framework, ensuring that they are executed effectively and efficiently.
• Oversee the execution of mechanical, civil, and electrical engineering projects at various estate and mill locations, ensuring that they meet established project timelines and budget constraints.
• Drive the development of strategies and processes that support operational, technical, and administrative activities related to engineering projects.
• Take the lead in ensuring that Capex projects are delivered on time and within budget, while also maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Focus on continuous improvement by identifying and driving process enhancement projects that contribute to operational excellence.
• Play a pivotal role in the successful execution of engineering projects, supporting the Estate and Mills operations in the Region and contributing to the company’s overall objectives.

Profile

• Possess a minimum of 15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to project management.
• Demonstrate a strong proficiency in project management, encompassing skills in planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication abilities in both English (at a professional level) and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Prior experience in the oil and gas industry or the plantation sector is advantageous and will be a valuable asset for this role.
