Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, this digital solutions company that established in 2014, which specializes in empowering building material brands to reach the offline market through innovative online-to-offline (O2O) channels.

Job Description:

• Create planning, management, and monitoring of data processing activities from all applications (such as Sales, Marketing, etc.) and company marketing media (Google Analytics website, web apps, mobile apps, email blasts, social media, etc.) to ensure that data analysis results can be used as a basis for creating company strategies and decision-making.
• Develop metrics & KPIs to measure and monitor the performance of the Data Department, including Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Data Support Analysts, and Data Cleansing & Verification by the Admin team.
• Ability to lead the department and its subordinates in line with the company’s vision, mission, and targets, including:
• Proposing organizational structure, roles, and responsibilities to support the development and achievement of company targets.
• Leading and developing each team member within the department they lead.
• Define and control data cleansing activities for all types of data (master data, transactions, surveys, logs, Google Analytics, etc.) from all sources owned by the Data Department and propose initiatives/projects to improve data quality/results from the data cleansing process.
• Manage, maintain, and develop the company’s Data Warehouse according to the needs of analysis and reporting/dashboard development carried out by the Data Department, including data source management, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, until the data is ready for use.
• Manage data processing activities for all data and transactions in all company applications, perform data analytics, create visualization in the form of reports, analysis, and dashboards, and provide recommendations/insights for each relevant stakeholder to serve as a basis for decision-making by customers and stakeholders.
• Manage support for data requests, reports, and analyses from various stakeholders, and develop automation for routine requests that can benefit multiple stakeholders, ensuring that the results are accurate and appropriate, thus maintaining and improving data management and operational consistency.
• Implement and regularly update data governance to align with operational developments and stakeholder needs in line with the company’s objectives.
• Introduce and promote a “data-driven” culture to encourage the use of data and quantitative and qualitative analysis during discussions and decision-making/strategies.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor‘s degree in any field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics and Data Science.
• Proficiency in utilizing various data processing tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview, Google Data Studio, Talend, R, and Python.
• Strong understanding of SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Demonstrated expertise in analyzing data, presenting insights, and visualizing data effectively.
• In-depth understanding of Data Governance & Security principles.
• Experience in leveraging data for monetization purposes is highly valued and will be considered a significant asset.
• Attention to detail, agility, trustworthiness, creativity, and extensive experience in Project Management are key attributes we seek.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen ability to understand and address user needs.
• The ability to build a data function from scratch, including leading a diverse team of 10 members consisting of Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and Data Support professionals.
• Regular reporting and collaboration with the Division Head of Data to ensure strategic alignment and achievement of objectives.
