Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement a strategic plan for business development that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives, with a focus on acquiring new clients and expanding market reach.

-Identify and target potential clients in the commercial, residential, hospitality, and retail sectors through market research, networking, and targeted outreach efforts.

-Generate leads through various channels, including networking events, industry partnerships, digital marketing campaigns, and referrals, and qualify leads to assess their potential as clients.

-Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs, preferences, and project requirements, and effectively communicate the company’s value proposition and service offerings and potentially generate more referrals and recommendations.

-Prepare and present proposals, bids, and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the company’s capabilities, portfolio, and unique selling points, and negotiate terms and contracts to secure new business.

-Oversee the execution of projects from initiation to completion, working closely with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction.

-Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the business development team, setting clear goals and expectations, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

-Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development, client acquisition, and project success, and provide regular reports and updates to senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of success in business development and client acquisition within the interior design, construction, or architecture industry, with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, architecture, interior design, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, project management tools, and other relevant business development and project management software applications.
