About the role

We are seeking a friendly and hospitable Guest Host to join our team at the Hookah Place, a vibrant shisha lounge located in the heart of Badung, Bali. As a Guest Host, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience to all our guests. This is a full-time role where you will work closely with our Front Office and Guest Services team to ensure the smooth running of our shisha lounge.

What you’ll be doing

1. Greeting and welcoming guests with a warm and friendly demeanour

2. Assisting guests with seating arrangements, menu selections and ordering

3. Ensuring the lounge maintains a clean, organised and inviting atmosphere at all times

4. Handling guest queries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner

5. Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory management

6. Collaborating with the Front Office and Guest Services team to deliver exceptional customer service

7. Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene protocols

What we’re looking for

1. Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the hospitality or service industry

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service

3. Strong problem-solving abilities and the confidence to handle challenging situations

4. Familiarity with food and beverage operations, including inventory management

5. A team player who is reliable, adaptable and committed to delivering results

6. Fluency in English and the local Balinese language is preferred
