Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities: Business Analyst, Commercial & Contracts and Performance Management on assigned entities, tasks and projects (both existing, M&A)
Identify and assess risks associated with GMO operations, implement risk mitigation strategies, and maintain appropriate safety protocols to protect personnel and the environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as research and development, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, and effectively communicate GMO-related activities and updates to stakeholders
Manage budgets, resources, and equipment required for GMO operations, ensuring optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
Manage activities to provide accurately and timely market and competitor research for strategic and operational decisions.
Identify new market opportunities; analyze competitor activities;
Conduct deeper market research with 3rd parties experts.
Have a good functional understanding of concepts such as pricing, exposure, P&L, business valuation, etc.
Recommend and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Evaluate current trends, make future forecasts and identify new business/industry trends in Commodity Market

GMO Project Commercial & Business Analyst Expert is responsible to prepare and concept the business development plan and the implementation of all business projects within the organization base on conducted business analyst. and to manage and facilitate the ISC (‘Integrated Steering Committee’) process to gain transparency and insights on critical performance / issues in order to drive decision making that aligns with the Organization’s Goals and Values, and which includes effective tracking and problem-solving proficiencies.

Sinarmas Mining is one of the world-largest natural resources based companies with operations in Indonesian archipelagos. Our subsidiaries in Coal Mining are Berau Coal Energy and Golden Energy Mines and some other mining companies. Currently we operate in three areas: South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, and Jambi. Currently, the Company sells coal to the Indonesian domestic market and export market in meeting customer needs which mainly consists of power plants, paper mills, cement and coal trading companies that purchase coal for resale. Exports made to various customers mainly China, India, and Asean countries. Most of coal sales company based on contract sales agreements of coal, with coal sales prices are negotiated and adjusted every year or shorter period of time based on coal quality and specification with reference to coal prices prevailing in the market.

The Company also operates coal trading business, where external coal purchases are carried out spot from various sources were for resale. Looking ahead, the trading business is intended also for the purpose of mixing the coal quality to get quality coal in accordance with the specific needs of customers who come from various target different market segments, both within and outside the country. Our purpose is to be the leading mining company in Indonesia by creating added value to customers & stakeholders.
