Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Marketing General Manager to join their team. This role will focus on driving our expansion in the food industry, leveraging their strengths in specialty chemicals and additives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food technology and a proven track record in sales and marketing.

Description

• Lead and manage the Sales and Marketing team to achieve company targets and growth.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand our client’s market presence in the food industry.
• Drive sales of specialty chemicals, with a focus on food grade applications.
• Maintain and expand relationships with key clients, ensuring continued dominance in this sector.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the food industry.
• Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet targets.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in the food technology or specialty chemicals industry.
• Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles, with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful strategies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
