We are looking for an experienced and strategic General Manager to lead our Private Brand & Trade Sourcing division at PT Lotte Shopping Indonesia. This is a full-time, permanent role based in East Jakarta, Jakarta. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, production and distribution of our private label products, as well as managing our global sourcing network to drive cost efficiencies and ensure a steady supply of high-quality merchandise.

What you’ll be doing

Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Private Brand & Trade Sourcing division, aligning it with the overall business objectives
Manage the end-to-end private label product lifecycle, from concept and design through to manufacturing, logistics and inventory management
Identify new sourcing opportunities and negotiate favourable terms with domestic and international suppliers
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure private brand products meet customer needs and expectations
Lead and motivate a team of product developers, buyers and sourcing specialists
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform product and sourcing strategies
Implement robust quality control and compliance processes to maintain brand integrity
Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the Private Brand & Trade Sourcing division

What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, economics or supply chain management
Extensive experience (5+ years) in a general management or senior leadership role within the retail industry
In-depth understanding of private label product development, global sourcing and supply chain management
Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand and product strategies
Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive data-driven decision making
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams
