Reporting to Head of Business Unit at Singapore. Responsible for :

The safe operational efficiency of Company fleet assigned and fiscal management of the day to day business.

Facilitating a business platform that is under pinned by a strong health, safety, environment and quality culture.

This involves working closely with various departments in ensuring the daily and longer term requirements of each vessel in the operation area are fully supported.

Responsibility :

• Operational :
• The Indonesia operations and Technical department teams will report to the Technical Manager based in Singapore for all functional matters and to the GM – Indonesia for administrative matters
• The GM – Indonesia will be involved in all communications operational and technical matters for local fleet vessels
• Admin & Planning :
• Execute the business plan developed by Management and BU Head at Singapore and provide a timely assessment on performance of the business against this
• Implement fiscal and operational objectives set by the Management and BU Head Singapore to mitigate business risks and uncertainties and provide a timely assessment on performance of the business against these objectives.
• Corporate Governance :
• Develop and maintain a risk management profile for the business
• Develop and maintain an appropriate internal control environment that compliments the risk management profile of the business
• Commercial & Marketing :
• Implement new market customer and entry acquisition strategy, design and building of a service capability
• Implement service quality controls and customer questionnaires that provide direction for consolidation of the existing customer base and provide for referrals for new customers.
• Human Resource :
• Ensure all direct reports have commensurate competency for their respective roles, in order, to develop a superior senior management group that will become a solid platform for business growth and promote a strong HSQE culture within the business
• Set objectives and KPl’s for all departmental managers to help implement the fiscal and operational objectives of the Group
• HSQE Responsibilities:
• HSQE :
• Responsible for active participation and performance to all Quality, Occupational, Environmental, Health and Safety standards sponsored by the business
• Knowledge of policies and practices on Quality, Occupational, Environmental, Health and Safety, and on diversity and equity
• Form part of the Emergency Response Team as required

Qualification :

• Degree in Engineering or Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
• Detailed understanding of applicable rules and regulations, conventions and law applicable to the industry, area of operations and vessel
• Experience as General Manager or Senior Manager at Shipping/Oil & gas company is preferable
• Clear strategic mindset with analytical focus
• Effective leadership skills and the ability to motivate, provide direction and support staff to achieve organizational objectives
