The General Manager for an Industrial Automation Company is responsible for the overall success of the company, including its strategic planning, financial performance, and day-to-day operations. The General Manager works closely with the company’s other executives to develop and implement strategic goals, and to ensure that the company is meeting its financial targets.

Description

• Develop and execute local business strategies to achieve agreed-upon revenue, profit, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manage market positioning, brand recognition, and customer satisfaction.
• Implement corporate strategies and processes.
• Drive long-term market development in Indonesia.
• Identify current and future customer needs, and provide input to HQ and the Southeast Asia Cluster.
• Optimization of pre-sales, sales and after-sales processes
• Network with stakeholders, institutions, and associations.
• Establish and operate a national network of assembly and service facilities.
• Achieve profitability targets.
• Shape company’s presence in the region and collaborate closely with the SEA Management team on internal and external matters.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputable university.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, or outstanding performance in current role.
• Experience in multinational companies in the drive technology market or in industries such as machine building, electric/ electronics or similar
• Experience leading a business unit or company, with P&L responsibility essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in guiding and developing management teams and other talent.
• Proficiency in modern IT tools.
