GA WITH TRANSLATOR SKILL

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for handling general affairs and office management, e.g photocpy machine, printer, telephone, electricity, water, AC, Pantry
  • Assist in licence processing for Company purposes
  • Do inventory of Company facilities and assets
  • Providing procurement and being responsible for the maintenance of Company goods or facilities;
  • Assist in licence processing for Company purposes;
  • Maintain good relations with suppliers, vendors, or parties who cooperate with the company;
  • Help team to organize events;
  • Ensure operation of equipments by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques
  • Keeping records of office assets (workstation labels, desktops/laptops labels, etc.)
  • Any other relevant responsibilities, as requested by Finance and Human Resources Manager.
  • Read given material and research industry-specific terminology
  • Convert text and audio recordings from one language to one or more others
  • Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
  • Prepare subtitles for videos and online presentations
  • Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of translation
  • Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
  • Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs
  • Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure)

QUALIFICATION

  • Have type A and C driver’s licenses;
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Having good knowledge in building maintenance and company assets.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work;
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role
  • Fluency in at least two languages (English is must)
  • Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
  • Good knowledge of content editing tools
  • Familiarity with translation software
  • Time-management skills
  • BSc in Translation, Interpreting or similar field
  • Additional certification in Linguistics is a plus
  • Willing to work at North Jakarta (Sunter)
  • Work day Monday-Saturday

RECEPTIONIST

Responsibilities :

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Arrange travel and accommodations, and prepare vouchers
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

Qualification :

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude
  • Fluent in communicating in a foreign language, at least English, both Oral and Written and being able to speak Mandarin will be an advantage
  • Willing to work at North Jakarta (Sunter)
