Job Accountabilities:

• Review of sample comments, T/P to understands clients requirements and clarify discrepancies when necessary
• Translate client technical package, procedures and processes to vendor/ factory
• Review of Fitting, Pre-production and patterns before sending to clients
• Fit sample on form and compile sample evaluation report
• Recognizing and solving basic balance and fit problems, call out to client on what is achievable.
• Provide technical support, guidance and advice to merchandising team and production partners to achieve quick approvals
• Work closely with overseas clients’ and vendors’ counterparts on technical issues to facilitate production friendly samples
• Effectively communicate solutions and alternatives to clients when there are technical difficulties to achieve product specifications
• Participate in pre-production process
• Conduct on-site fitting and training
• Accompany clients on factory visit to provide support

Job Requirements:

• Experience of US and EU market with good attention to details
• Sound industrial technical knowledge of Furniture construction method and fabrication 
• Must be familiar with factory operations, strong knowledge of production equipment and Furniture manufacturing processing
• Service and client oriented with attention to details;
• A considerable amount of judgment, problem solving and ability to provide technical solution and advice on furniture problems is required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Willing to visit factory to resolve technical problems, travel to overseas occasionally

Qualification:

• Diploma / university in Furniture Field on related disciplines from technical institute or university
• 5 -10 related working experience in handling multi products, e.g. outdoor / indoor Furniture
• Technical training in paper pattern making is necessary
• Career Technician / QC line Supervisory background preferred
• Computer skills and familiar with MS office
