This vacancy is for those, recently graduated or otherwise not experienced yet, interested in an open ended project that can easily span decades and want to learn on the job in a freelance setting.

A freelance position is where you are not an employee of a company. Rather you are a service provider that renders services on a hourly basis for it’s clients. We’d like to be your client.

Have you always wanted to work on the forefront of web development but got hindered by a lack of experience?

Well then now is your time as we are hiring junior freelancers.

As a freelance junior full stack mobile web / PWA developer you will be creating the next big thing on the internet.

With a mobile first approach and a prototyping and agile development methodology you will be responsible for adding the bleeding edge of current web technology to our application.

The application will be cramped with advanced technology and designed to have it’s users the best possible experience.

What we are looking for are the web developers that have a little bit of experience of at least some of the below and are willing to research / learn more about the rest of the below.:

• An ability to write and speak correct English that is intelligible for Europeans. This is a must and the most important skill to have to be considered for the role.
• HTML 5, including DOM manipulation using JavaScript.
• Shadow DOM
• CSS3
• Plain JavaScript, including promises / event dispatching / modules / latest Web API’s. (no frameworks e.g. Jquery. We do not use those and we are not impressed by them. We are impressed by JavaScript and Web API’s)
• Service Workers, local storage techniques and PWA’s in general.
• Web sockets
• ASP.NET 8 / Razor.
• Node.js
• Gulp
• C#
• SQL
• Open Source Databases
• Nginx
• Kestrel
• Visual Studio (Code)

There is no more need to commute to and from a physical office as ours is virtual.

All you need is a good webcam, microphone/headset, stable internet connection, a large screen on your computer/laptop and a space that is free of distractions and private. You’ll also need a good phone with Signal messenger for video calling.

The specifications of your computer / laptop don’t matter all that much as you will be logging in on a dedicated development system via the remote desktop protocol. All work is done on the development systems and code never leaves our office.

As a junior you will first start out doing random tasks to support the main project. It’s okay if you still sometimes make mistakes or sometimes need some time to research how things work. You can do that on our time.

At times we will also teach you the more finer details of advanced development so all in all this means means you are getting paid to learn.

We work during Central European time zone office hours. In the beginning while joining the team those hours will be between 09:00 and 17:00 including one hour break in where you can have your dinner.

By the time you are becoming more knowledgeable and do not need as much help any more it is okay for you to change your work hours as long as there is a minimum of 35 hours per work week.

Your hourly rate will depend on how much you already know when you begin here.

* If you know almost nothing of the most important skills then you will not qualify.

* If you know a little of the most important skills but not of any other skills then we can offer IDR 12.5k / h

* If you know a little of all the required skills already then we can offer IDR 25k / h.

* there will be a technical assessment to see where you will fall on this scale.

Anyway the most important skill to have by far is an excellent command of the English language.

Once you have demonstrated mastery of all involved required skills we can offer IDR 120k / h as you will then have become a senior.
