About the role
As the Footwear QA Manager at Deckers International HK Limited, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our footwear products. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance within our footwear manufacturing processes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive quality control strategies to meet product standards and customer requirements
  • Conducting regular inspections and testing of raw materials, production processes, and finished goods to identify and address any quality issues
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, design, and sourcing, to continuously improve quality and efficiency
  • Providing detailed reporting and analysis to leadership on quality metrics, trends, and improvement initiatives
  • Driving continuous improvement through the identification and implementation of best practices and innovative quality assurance methods
  • Mentoring and training quality assurance personnel to enhance their skills and capabilities

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the footwear or apparel manufacturing industry
  • Thorough understanding of quality control processes, testing methods, and international quality standards
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the use of quality management software and tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, manufacturing, or quality management
