Role Objectives

Fit-Out Staff will be responsible for supporting and monitoring all tenant fit-out activities at Discovery Mall Bali, ensuring compliance with mall standards, technical guidelines, safety regulations, and project timelines. This role will coordinate between tenants, contractors, and the mall’s internal departments to ensure smooth execution of fit-out projects that align with the mall’s operational and aesthetic standards.

 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (preferred).

• 1–2 years of relevant work experience is an advantage.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture (2D), with the ability to read and prepare technical drawings.

• Basic knowledge of 3D design tools such as AutoCAD 3D or SketchUp is preferred.

• Familiarity with rendering software (e.g., V-Ray) and graphic tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop or similar) will be considered an advantage.

• Excellent drawing interpretation and technical detailing skills.

• Strong communication and project coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with tenants, contractors, and internal departments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.

• Willingness to be based in Bali.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main contact point for tenants regarding fit-out processes.

• Assist tenants from initial design submission until the successful opening of their rental unit.

• Provide technical guidance to tenants in line with mall fit-out guidelines.

• Ensure all tenant communications and documentation are processed in accordance with mall procedures.

• Review and provide feedback on tenant’s design drawings and specifications.

• Ensure designs comply with mall standards, civil, architectural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) requirements.

• Encourage tenants to submit fit-out designs on time according to the agreed schedule.

• Prepare units for handover, including electricity, HVAC, exhaust, and fresh air systems as per tenant requirements.

• Supervise on-site tenant fit-out works to ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards.

• Coordinate with internal departments to support smooth fit-out execution.

• Monitor fit-out project schedules and ensure timely completion.

• Conduct regular site inspections during the fit-out process.

• Perform a checklist for rental units before, during, and after opening.

• Follow up on defect lists until the unit is fully completed and ready for operations.

• Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of fit-out progress.
