We are looking for motivated and skilled candidate for the Position of Finishing Engineer. Responsibilities of the Finishing Engineer shall be as follows:

• Managing finishing works of construction and reporting into the Construction Manager
• Monitor program activities design to manage high end floor finishes, joinery works, wall finishes, facades, structural glazing, wall claddings, interior works, etc. from conceptual stage through life cycle of project.
• Monitor performance of contractors and suppliers
• Implement and ensure maintenance of quality management systems for projects
• Carry out Technical supervision of ongoing Civil & Finishing work at all stages
• Keeping the project adequately resourced with plant and materials,
• Self-performing certain elements of works,
• Controlling and managing specialist sub-contractors,
• Keeping accurate records of production,
• Providing reports (daily, weekly and monthly) on works completed, etc.
• Take part in risk workshops and report any risks associated with installations Construction Manager.
• Review Contractor’s installation method statements.
• Review Contractor’s shop drawings against the design drawings for compliance with the design intent and return to Construction Manager with appropriate comments / approval within the specified contractual period.
• Review Contractor’s proposed sub-contractor(s) associated with the engineering works from a technical standpoint.
• Undertake general project site observation / inspection of the works for Contractor’s adherence to the approved shop drawings and Consultant’s specification, good working practices and construction schedule.
• Be available to undertake off-site inspections of proposed equipment and materials as may be deemed necessary by the Construction Manager.
• Undertake prior review of Contractor’s proposed method statement and schedule.
• Witness testing that may be required during the construction and advise the Construction Manager accordingly.
• Review and comment on Contractor’s testing and commissioning results and advise the Construction Manager accordingly.
• Maintain on-going list of defects for contractor’s remedial action.
• Attend project, site progress and any related technical meetings as directed by the Construction Manager.
• Review and approve Contractor’s ‘as built’ drawings.

JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
• Has experience in finishing works
• Indonesian Citizen Only
• Time management
• Decision making abilities
• Strong communication abilities
• Leadership experience
• Data Center Design & Construction for Min. 3 Years
• Building Design & Construction Experience for Min. 7-10 Years
• Professional English Proficiency is mandatory
