We are currently looking for a deeply passionate candidate for Finance Staff for an immediate placement in Bali (Head Office). A great candidate for this role is a mature team member with the ability to carry out tasks thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner. Being highly open-minded and quickly adapt to change will be also a great advantage for this role.

Role Descriptions

Finance Staff is a finance team player that handles and executes various company’s finance related tasks accurately and within the deadline. An excellent Finance Staff will make sure all financial transactions and reporting are executed and filed accurately in accordance with the company rules, procedures, policies, and Government laws. The Finance Staff is expected to be genuinely excited to assist and guard the company’s financial activities, accurate, neat, organized, and strict to deadlines. As you will handle many sensitive and confidential information, you must uphold utmost integrity in all aspects of life and work.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle, record, and check all finance transactions (e.g., payables, receivables, reimbursement, petty cash, cash disbursement, collections, payroll, etc.), financial findings (e.g., discrepancies, incompliance, etc.), and other finance activities accurately, timely, and completely.
  • Handle, analyze, and check transactions to ensure correct & compliant transactions, a controlled budget, zero outstanding receivables and payables, and minimum loss of company’s assets; including assisting in the company’s stock taking processes.
  • Create, update, distribute, and present finance data, documents, and reports necessary for regular accounting process and various company’s finance activities in a timely manner (e.g., transaction report, petty cash report, asset report, budget realization report, expenses report, forecast report, monthly-quarterly-annual report, bank recapitulation dan reconciliation, etc.).
  • Collect and prepare data for tax payment; execute tax payment accurately within the deadline.
  • Communicate and coordinate financial issues and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders (e.g., customers/clients, vendors, tax authorities, etc.).
  • Create and update all financial and tax documents as well as reports in accordance with the company rules, procedures, policies, and Government laws (e.g., invoices, vouchers, payment proofs, tax filing, etc.).
  • Check documentation and filing (of financial and tax documents both digitally and physically) both at the Head Office and from all company’s outlets are complete, in good condition, and stored neatly considering its confidentiality, safety, and accessibility for audit/future reference.
  • Actively identify, analyze, and resolve account discrepancies and/or incoming-outgoing irregularities; report those discrepancies and irregularities as well as the planned and taken measures to the management
  • Assist in streamlining and improving the finance process, identify areas of performance improvement; coordinate and collaborate with other divisions to ensure accuracy and compliance in finances.
  • Perform other clerical/administrative supports to Finance, Accounting, Management, and Operations as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant fields.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook; especially Microsoft Excel) and Google Drive.
  • Understand basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.
  • Thorough, detail oriented, highly accurate with excellent record-keeping skills, consistently delivering high quality of work result.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, discipline, ability to prioritize tasks, capable of meeting deadlines and routine procedures.
  • High professional discretion and confidentiality, capable of taking ownership and maintaining productivity without direct supervision.
  • Experience in a dynamic environment with ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes, eagerness to continuously and constantly learning/upgrading self.
  • Proficiency with accounting and financial software, interest, knowledge, and experience in corporate tax are advantageous. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in verbal and written articulacy as well as English language (writing and verbal).

Additional Requirements

  • Physical requirement: prolonged period sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Travel requirement: may require business travel to company’s outlets for regular audit activities
  • Full time position, office hours (Monday – Friday)
  • Placement immediately in Bali, Seminyak area (expected in February 2024)
