Finance and Administration Manager

As the Finance and Administration Manager, you will be responsible for the overall financial and administrative functions of the Indonesian Operations. You will serve as a business partner to various commercial managers on matters that impacts finance, accounting and commercial assessment and evaluation including improvements and cost optimization through business processes, controls, policies and procedures.

The roles and duties:

• Povides leadership and directions on the day-to-day running of the finance activities to support the business operation.
• Ensure compliances to accounting policies and standards and maintenance of accounting records.
• Preparation of financial reports and management accounts.
• Coordinate and prepare the annual business budget and monitor the actual performance against the budget.
• Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure efficient use of funds and adequacy of working capital
• Ensure compliances with statutory and regulatory requirements, including statutory audit, taxes and business licenses.
• Ensure compliance of business operations and group reporting to Group Policies and Procedures.
• Coordinate and manage the administration and requisition/procurement process to ensure proper justification and approval.
• Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as and when required. 
• This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer, with dotted line reporting to the Country Manager, Indonesia.

Requirement:

• Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business or a professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of working experience; with at least 3 years as a manager managing a full functional finance department. Prior experience in similar role that requires strong understanding of financial controls, accounting, reporting and business partnering.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and good foundation of accounting and tax knowledge in Indonesia.
• Good leadership behavior and driven to success.
• Have high integrity, firm personality and high degree of initiative.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with resourceful and positive attitude, strong prioritization and applying high levels of attention to details, efficient, strong analytical skills.
• High level literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Location:

• Butterworth, Penang or Kuala Lumpur.
• Hybrid working arrangement, flexibility work from office and home.
