TASK :

General

  • Participate in the yearly stock take.

  • Overseeing day to day financial operations.

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial and tax transactions.

  • Review financial and tax reports and analysis.

Financial Accounting

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making.

  • Analyze financial statements, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Prepare financial reports for management review.

Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

  • Monitor budget variances and provide analysis to management.

  • Recommend adjustments to budget allocations as needed.

Tax

  • Ensure the Company always comply to the prevailing tax laws to minimize potential tax exposure.

  • Prepare annual CIT calculation and submission.

  • Prepare monthly VAT & WHT reconciliations and reporting.

  • Forecasts income taxes, and analyzes tax provisions.

  • Lead the tax dispute process, prepare argumentation and/or supporting needed to tax authority.

  • Monitor and analyze the impact of changes in taxation regulation and provide recommendation to address the changes.

  • Assist Manager to discuss, explain and answer tax related queries from both internal and external parties.

  • Liaise with tax consultant for TP Documentation and provide the supporting data/ information.

Administration and other tasks :

  • Review and update existing SOP’s and processes.

  • Ensure internal control system are implemented and followed, report and deviations to line manager.

  • Liaison with external auditors, banks and third parties.

Additional tasks

  • Support Treasury in other entity within company’s group, include project based on needed or appointment.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and general ledger.

  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to financial reporting, tax filings, and accounting practices.

  • Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations by preparing and filing tax returns, monitoring changes in tax laws, and assisting with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.

  • Assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Assisting with internal and external audits by providing documentation, answering inquiries, and addressing audit findings.

  • Supporting the development of budgets and forecasts by gathering and analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to aid in decision-making.

  • Providing guidance and support to finance and accounting team members, fostering a collaborative work environment, and facilitating professional development opportunities.

AUTHORITY :

  • Propose reclass or reverse journal related with accrual, Fixed Asset, and general ledger.

  • Return/ reject Invoice document to vendor or purchasing department if not complete.

  • Respond to tax inquiries, and implement tax planning strategies within the framework of applicable laws and regulations.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard assets, prevent fraud, and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
