Description

As the Finance Lead with a specialization in funding through equity and banks, your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimize the financial resources of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Funding Strategy Development:

• Collaborate with the executive team to formulate funding strategies that align with the company’s financial and growth objectives.
• Conduct market research and financial analysis to identify potential sources of equity and banking funding.
• Evaluate the feasibility and risks associated with different funding options and present recommendations to senior management.

1. Equity Funding:

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with investors, venture capitalists, and private equity firms to attract equity investments.
• Prepare investment proposals, business plans, and financial models to showcase the company’s growth potential and attract investors.
• Lead negotiations and manage the process of securing equity investments, ensuring favorable terms for the company.

1. Banking Funding:

• Collaborate with banks and financial institutions to establish credit lines, loans, and other banking facilities that meet the company’s financing needs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with bank representatives to negotiate favorable lending terms and ensure the company’s access to necessary credit.

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Monitor the company’s financial performance and maintain a comprehensive understanding of its financial health.
• Prepare regular financial reports and present updates to the executive team and stakeholders on the status of funding initiatives.
• Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

1. Risk Management:

• Assess and manage financial risks associated with equity and banking funding activities.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the company’s financial stability and compliance with relevant regulations.

• Stay informed about relevant financial regulations, reporting requirements, and industry best practices.
• Ensure that all funding activities comply with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

1. Team Leadership and Development:

• Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Provide guidance and support to team members in executing funding strategies effectively.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in finance, with a focus on equity fundraising and banking funding.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with financial software and tools for financial modeling and reporting.
• Ethical and compliant behavior in all financial dealings.
