About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Intern to join the team at PT Thermochem Indonesia, Consulting Services & Laboratory. This is a full-time, in-office position located in West Bandung, West Java. You will be responsible for providing essential financial and accounting support to the company’s operations, contributing to the overall success of the business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of ERP documents.

What we’re looking for

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Have internship or volunteer experience in administration and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in using financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a desire to grow within the field of finance

Thermochem operates two specialized geothermal fluid analysis laboratories (USA and Indonesia) where samples from around the world are shipped for analysis. These locations also serve as our regional bases for instrumentation and equipment assembly and specialized product sales.
