The Position

Role Purpose:

• Leveraging strong financial expertise to drive initiatives critical for our strategy

• Building networks across the organization and co-create valuable solutions for the affiliate and Roche

• Acting as a sparring partner, challenger, and decision supporter for the organization

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnering

• Partner with the business and support in negotiating with external stakeholders (customers, HCP’s, key accounts) throughout the customer journey.

• Support the commercial team in driving closure of key customer issues (e.g. pricing, contract compliance, contract negotiation)

• Provide financial analysis, modeling, consultation, transparency, and insights to achieve business objectives

• Balance resource allocation and advise on financial implications

• Assure financials are on track to achieve targeted business results

• Identify and support process improvement initiatives

Business Planning

• Lead planning event processes for local affiliate – business plan, budget, and monthly outlook

• Provide structured analysis of plan assumptions and performance targets

• Provide analytics, insights, resource allocation models, and financial modeling tools on affiliate level with the full market P&L and balance sheet in scope

As a member of the affiliate finance organization you will primarily support the local business needs (80%), while also contributing to above country initiatives (20%)

Qualifications:

• 7+  years of experience in Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering

• Ambitious with a can-do attitude and a speak-up mindset

• Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to quickly connect dots

• Outstanding business  acumen with a proven track record of sound fiscal planning and performance management

• Excel and SAP skills a must

• Healthcare experience a plus
